| I know this belongs in the tech section, however I wanted to order my oil today and I figured this would get more traffic. Mods - feel free to move if you deem necessary. So I'm currently doing my rear main right now and drained my trans when I dropped it. I want to order my new fluid so I can have it when everything is back together. I was running redline's lightweight shockproof gear oil in my trans and I loved it - so much smoother. I am curious to see, would it be any benefit to mixing shockproof and MT-90 and what ratio/weight would be best? It comes in heavy, light and superlight. I was thinking about doing 1qt of heavyweight or lightweight shockproof with 2qt of MT-90. Good or bad idea? The car isn't driven in the winter, but might see colder days in the spring/fall. I tried calling redline, but they aren't open on the weekends. La-Z-Link
